Seed Identifier Terms of Service
Please read these terms before using the app.
Acceptance
By downloading or using Seed Identifier, you agree to these terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Informational AI Results
The app provides AI-assisted likely matches and general informational context. Results may be incomplete, incorrect, or unsuitable for your location or cultivar. They are not professional botanical, agricultural, medical, veterinary, toxicological, or food-safety advice.
Responsible Use
Never eat, brew, plant, apply, sell, distribute, or medically use an unknown seed based only on an image result. Verify the species, cultivar, legality, invasiveness, toxicity, allergens, and local growing guidance with qualified sources, especially when children, pets, livestock, or protected environments may be affected.
Your Content
You retain your rights in photos and text you submit. You grant us and the service providers described in the Privacy Policy the limited permission necessary to transmit, process, and return that content for the feature you requested, plus security, abuse-prevention, and legal-compliance purposes. You confirm that you have the right to submit the content.
Subscriptions
The app may offer an optional auto-renewing subscription. Apple’s purchase sheet displays the current price, billing period, trial availability, and terms before confirmation. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features. AI and network features may be unavailable, delayed, or rate-limited. We do not promise that every seed can be identified or that saved or synced data will always be available.
Disclaimer and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and without warranties of accuracy, fitness, or uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of, or reliance on, an AI result. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how selected content, saved results, analytics, purchases, and feedback are handled.
